Why We Travel

The bourbon doesn’t come to you.

You can’t really teach bourbon from a slide deck. You can’t smell a rickhouse over a Zoom call. The corn cooking, the new-make off the still, the sweat on the dunnage warehouse floor in August — those don’t show up in a textbook.

So we go. Distilleries, festivals, classes, and the occasional bar that takes whiskey seriously. Every stop adds to what we can teach back. Every conversation is part of the curriculum.
