What is Operation Bottle Kill?

Drunken Unicorn is John and Shauna's sensory education company for American whiskey, run out of the tasting room in Leavenworth, Kansas. The classes serve two audiences: beginners getting their first real introduction to American whiskey, and intermediate drinkers ready to advance their palate from preference into vocabulary.

Operation Bottle Kill is the room-cleanout class — open bottles meet a willing crowd, food, and mixers. Built on the principle that an open bottle is a depreciating asset and the right move is to drink it well with friends. The Drunken Unicorn community at its most natural.
